A one of a kind handmade and signed 10.5 sterling silver sculpture by Brutalist / Modernist artist Rachel Gera! Known for her large scale gutsy rings, bracelets and necklaces, Israeli 1980s artist Gera also made a few free standing sculptures. This 10.5 tall by 2 3/4 inch square base sculpture features a cube adorned with roses, flowers and berries on a rectangular stem and square base. A mixture of cubist and high Victorian florals, this sculpture is engraved Gera 107 Hand made Israel 925 to the base. It weighs 25.6 ounces, roughly 23.1 troy ounces. An impressive, museum quality example of Gera’s work on a large scale. Very good condition with tarnish and a couple pinhead dents to the stem.
